Our story
When Ambi was founded in 2022, the entire team consisted of just two people — a developer and a designer. Us, Artem and Anatolii.
By early 2023, we began forming a small team. But it quickly became clear: we weren’t ready to hand off client communication and complex project ownership to managers. Communication quality and execution standards were – and still are – our top priorities. That realization led us into a bit of a growth crisis.
The crisis, and how it inspired us to grow with x2 motivation
The traditional – and quite tempting – path in IT is pushing for rapid growth through taking more projects, setting up business processes, and involving managers.
Of course, we wanted to grow. However, we didn’t want to scale recklessly just for the sake of it. Instead, we opted for intentional growth without losing control over key processes.
Although “successful success stories” teach us to scale rapidly, we realized that refusing to scale hastily was our key advantage over competitors (specifically, from the client's perspective). This was – and is – what guarantees delivering on our promises, quality, and clear communication. Above all, this gives our clients confidence in implementing complex tasks successfully.
Thanks to such an approach, we keep the essence of what made our studio special in the first place.
Essence
Despite deep expertise and years of experience in delivering complex projects, Ambi remains a cozy, boutique studio. Yes, we’re growing, but we’re doing it conservatively.
We personally handle negotiations with every client, control quality and timing, and stay hands-on as Creative Producer and Technical Director for key projects. That’s how we ensure the work reflects our values and principles.
